• Bombarde - The loudest of traditional woodwind, used in Brittany in pipe bands and at dances
• Bagpipes - The most recognisable and well known of the Scottish Instruments
• Borderpipes - Quieter then the bagpipes and in A so they can accompany many other Scottish instruments.
• Smallpipes - Even quieter than borderpipes and they have a lower and softer range.
• Wooden Flute - Fully chromatic like a silver flute but with a stronger, darker sound
• Whistle - Not as versatile as the flute but unique and played in a number of ranges from tenor D to soprano E
